Sweden's FOREVER YOUNG made their mark with the 10 tunes debut "The Guarantee" (Monument Records) and with this follower they keep the path of vegan dreams. Song titles like "Straight Edge Got My Back" and "Keep It Posi" are reflecting the state of mind of this restless VSE Umeå band : filled with attitude, knowledge and youth.
FOREVER YOUNG got the chance to be represented in the documentary "EDGE The Movie" (by Roots Of Compassion Media) with "X On My Hand" from "The Guarantee". They are in good company in the documentary with Genie of Gather, Ian MacKaye of Minor Threat, Pat of Have Heart... Keep it positive, keep it clean!

2) NEW RELEASES OUT NOW
PRESSURE "We're All To Blame" EP : these (really) young guys play a highly 90s influenced hardcore and they do it right! With these 6 tracks, they prove that they are one of the most promising band in the today belgian hardcore scene!

RENO "s/t" 7 inch : our friends in Reno are from Brussels and play some rocking and chaotic hardcore, not unlike a mixture of early Every Time I Die and Converge. This (white) 7" has 4 songs and is packed in a nice embossed cover with an awesome transparent lyrics sheet. 300 copies were made and we only have a limited amount of these beauties!

LASTING TRACES/WAY DOWN "split" 7 inch : 2 songs by each band. Way Down needs no introduction. We released their first 7 inch "Ghost Please Die" in august 2009 and this one is almost sold-out! Although going in a heavier direction, these two new tracks still has the representative sound and emotional vibe found in their previous material.
New band to the IFU family, Lasting Traces, from the lonely woods of the Black Forest in Southern Germany, are creating a furious mixture of modern hardcore/punk with a big focus on a melodic edge. Heavy hearted lyrics combined with frustration and energy. As influence and comparable artists you can name bands of the last decade like Verse or Killing The Dream. But LASTING TRACES doesn't sound like a poor imitation. Outstanding music from passionated kids, for passionated kids.
