BLACK HAVEN - DIRTY BLACK SUMMER

The first leg, the UK part, of the BLACK HAVEN/THE BREAK IN tour was a blast. Cool shows, cool bands, cool people. To bad we had to cancel the Newport show due to excessive rainfall, flooding and traffic jams.

Next week BLACK HAVEN and LOSINGxSTREAK (www.njwrecords.com), are marking the release of their debut ep/7" together. They are backed up that day by both bands' touring buddies, THE BREAK IN and ONE VOICE, and TRENCHFOOT. This is also the start of the second leg of the BLACK HAVEN/THE BREAK IN tour. More touring is in the pipeline for BLACK HAVEN as they leave on tour with IN REMEMBRANCE (www.blacktoprecords.com) this fall. This tour takes them to Germany, Slovakia and Austria.

NO RECESS - AS TIME TELLS

NO RECESS welcomed two new members recently. Lennert plays guitar now, while Thibault took up the bass instead of guitar. On drums, Maxim is part of NO RECESS now. In an amazingly short period of time the guys turned this into a fucking solid line up, surprising friend and foe once again. Ready.

Together with Niko BLACKTOP, we are sending NO RECESS on tour this fall. This trip will take them around Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium. More news later.

SHREDDER - BENDING DOES NOT EQUAL BREAKING

The SHREDDER summer tour ended half way. Some hickups forced us to go home early. One show was cancelled. More importantly, vocalist Simon's back was totally ruined. At some point he lost all feeling in one of his legs. After Mannheim we were forced to go back. We could not go on without Simon. SHREDDER/2 = Not SHREDDER. He should be ok in time for their sunday show on IEPERFEST (check out www.ieperfest.com, NO RECESS and BLACK HAVEN are playing friday and saturday). Thanks to all the people who showed their sympathy. I means a lot, it really does. Ow, and the roadie cracked his skull.

Bending does not equal breaking. SHREDDER is working on new songs. Recording is scheduled for the end of this year.
